Happy Monday loves,
If you’re new to FnF, each week we pose a creative challenge. At the end of the week, I ask for photos or stories or your success and share them here. The latest challenge was to create found art.
My digital camera pooped this weekend and I was unable to take a photo of my art project for you, but I made about 30 miniature origami cranes attached to sticky notes that said “You are loved” and left them around town as my days went by last week.
Here’s what some of you did:
Kris’ letter (attached behind the canvas) is addressed to “you!” and reads:
“Congratulations! You have found a one of a kind art piece. Little did I know that I was making this for you, but here we are. It is an image from the back alleys of Venice, Italy. Taken the sumer of 2002. The print process is a hand done transfer onto canvas. I sincerely hope this brightens your day! This was part of the fishnorfowl.net found art project. Have a great holiday! Kris D’Amico 12/7/08.”
Thank you so much to everyone who participated. I know there are more of you who told me about your projects but don’t have photos, and you can leave your stories in the comments.
This week’s challenge will be up later today!
