It’s almost Friday (or for some you it already is) yay!
Swimming: My newfound love of working out continues. I’ve been going to the gym at lunch to go swimming and it’s seriously one of the best ways to clear my mind and just be in that moment. I come back to work refreshed, with my heart pumping, and feeling more calm about all my pre-lunch stresses.
Rain gear: I’m a little over grey skies frankly, but since mother nature obviously isn’t, I’m making the best of it by pulling out my excellent yellow rain jacket and pink and yellow polka dot wellies.
Routine: Mostly I’m more of a chaos person. If you walked into my room or work space, you already know this, as clothes and jewelry are sort of in their own little piles instead of folded and put away. Especially this long weekend I let go of my eating and sleeping schedule and it was great. I loved not caring about the mundane everyday things, and it was a good break. Now I’m ready to get back to it, as I like knowing certain things are going to be a certain way in my life. It makes the surprises even better.
Meditating: Daily meditation helps me sleep better, be more focused and more at peace with myself. I miss a day occasionally, but being consistent it’s a great way to end my day and really wind down before bed.
Anticipation: Waiting for news that your life might change dramatically with one email is heart racing stuff. It’s been two months of waiting and the moment of truth is near. Either way I’ll be alright, but I feel jumpy and excited and scared all at once. It’s good to be on the tipping point.
runners up: fruit snacks, six billions, dancing, tattoos, chocolate shake lunches, flex- bend-y time, margarita phone calls, pomegranate tea, Lonely Planet browsing, fuzzy pajamas and fluffy comforters, going to the gym everyday, flowers in my hair, shadow puppets
MmmHmm!
Outstanding piece, thanks for sharing!
