I love holidays that fall on Mondays. My week feels so much shorter!
Wedding Planning: This could just as easily fit into a "Things I Hate Thursday" post for all the little mundane things that need doing, but crafting the reception, auditioning bands (even if through MySpace) and thinking about what awesome shoes I get to buy is really fun, much more fun than I thought it would be honestly.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: I love my video games every now and then. I try to keep a generation behind to make it a cheap hobby though, so I finally picked up Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, which is sort of like a goofy Law and Order. Let's just say I played it for about 8 hours straight. Addictive much?
Being on Set: I worked as a script supervisor for a web video production crew last week, and I forgot how much I enjoyed being on a set. I started college as a theatre major, and acted in a few films by friends and other film students as well as the obligatory random prop person. The hours are long and the work is inconsistent, but it's still fun to make movies.
Job Hunting: I know, this is normally something people loathe, but really, it's sort of a new hunt for friends, a virtual day-home for yourself and your creative abilities, and that's exciting. Maybe it's only a job waiting tables or doing office work, but the possibilities are all there. Like theone I applied for as a magician's assistant; they only required that I be under 5'4", which I fit under nicely.
Runners Up: Meditating, cuddles on the floor, new sexy slips, reading giant books, green chai, organizing, yoga, meeting new communities, reconnecting, planned roadtrips
