I love to sleep. Sometimes I wonder why we were made to be awake when we have these ginormous imaginative brains that can make us grow wings, save the world, and get the giraffe all in one sleep cycle. As such, I love naps. I tend to stay up too late at night and need to get up somewhat early in the mornings, so naps are my friend. Especially right now, as I’m planning a wedding, starting a new job, looking for a new place to move to, and managing a few freelance assignments, I need a little sleeps in my life.
What’s the best thing about naps?
The best thing about naps is the snuggle factor. I couldn’t sleep at night all wrapped in a big soft blanket but I can nap that way.
I love the way my aching body finally relaxes as I sink onto the bed.
I love the warm snuggly feeling of being wrapped up in the duvet.
I love the smell of my pillow.
I love being able to wake naturally instead of being jolted awake by my alarm clock.
I love the way it feels like I’ve gotten all the kinks out of my brain.
I love that I remember more dreams after naps than after ‘normal’ sleep.
Which is the best…sorry, I can’t choose! 😀
The best thing is naps with the window open on a foggy day. Just a sheet and my kitty cat. LOVE.
cuddling up in the cool sheets in a darkened room
i wanna nap now
😀
This has inspired me to take a nap right now, I’m not even kidding… ^_^
My favorite thing about taking a nap is having a half-asleep, fantastical dream about something incredibly odd and completely harmless. It’s a great way to let your mind wander while you get back into the swing of things when you wake up.
Naps are about my favorite thing in the world. I took one earlier this afternoon and it was amazzzzzing!
escaping your stress for a bit to wake up refreshed and maybe even with a new perspective!
