No matter what you come to Delinquent Debutantes to find, regular movement, confidence coaching, new tricks, stressful weeks make it important to create your own daily movement practice – something you can do when you can’t make it to see us!
How to Create a Daily Movement Practice:
- Clear a space in your home that’s free from clutter and sharp edged objects like coffee tables.
- If there are mirrors, consider covering them with a scarf. This is about moving, not judging.
- Create a quiet moment in your body, close your eyes and breathe deeply, paying attention to what parts of you feel maybe like they need some love.
- Listening to whatever music suits your mood, allow yourself to just move with it, maybe just a sway or stepping side to side, maybe getting on the floor and stretching. Allow your body guide your movements.
Creating a daily movement practice will help keep you grounded, clear a cloudy mood, and build a fun habit!
